You don't seem like you're from around here, kupo. What's your name, kupo?
Leviathan hadn’t really been paying attention to where he was going, or the surrounding areas for the time being. He kept his eyes to the floor, thinking, before hearing a very odd voice call out. Naturally, he looked around, wondering where the heck it came from.
Lev looked at the strange creature with a brow raised. Not quite understanding what it wanted. “And why do you want to know?” Lev responded. He waited for a few moments of silence, seeing how the moogle didn’t seem to want to answer. He sighed. “Names Leviathan Capriccio.”
Is that what everyone calls you, kupo?
“Usually, Yeah, Some people call me Lev.” He shrugged. “Doesn’t really matter to me though, long as I know I’m being spoken too, names don’t really matter.”
That's a good boy name, kupo. You are a boy, are you not, kupo?
Leviathan chuckled. Unfortunately for him that wasn’t such an uncommon question. “Yeah, I am. Glad I wasn’t called a chick again.” he rubbed the back of his neck in an embarrassed fashion.
Apparently, you cannot tell when I am joking, kupo. You must be an old man with no sense of humor, kupo. How old are you, anyway, kupo?
Lev blinked, rather confused “…what is that supposed to mean!?” He glared over at the cloaked moogle. The heck was this nosey little thing anyways.
“Pft. Do I look like an old man to you? I’m not even 20 yet.”
You are he funniest moogle I have ever seen, kupo. What sort of creature are you?
“I’m what you call a Human.” Lev rolled his eyes.
Well of course I can't see you very well, with you standing in the shadows like that. How could I tell what you look like?
“Maybe if you took that hood off your face you could see better.”
(Lev's face claim is Len Kagamine (Vocaloid) Specifically from the Synchronicity series. I just Photoshop is eyes red.)
Hmm... and where do you hail from?
Lev sighed. “I’m from a place that no longer exists. So what does it matter?” His crimson eyes flicked towards the ground. Oh great, the thing wanted more information?
Lev’s world was a very old fashioned one. It had a lot of very small country like towns scattered throughout, and then one big central city. Lev lived in one of the smaller towns, farther away from the larger city. The smaller towns weren’t as up to date (technology wise) as the larger capital, so for the most part things were rather old fashioned. The terrain around his home in particular was rather hilly. People road horses to get around or when needed small boats. The buildings where mostly made of stone or wood, and a lot of them where generally pretty close together, making a pretty good small community of people.
I see... That weapon you have there. What is it?
Lev blinked and immidiatly looked down to see if somehow he’d accidently triggered one of the blades attached to his forearms, under his gloves. Both still seemed to be retracted, so he was very confused. Lev then noticed the that his cloak had gotten caught on the handle of his sword, causing it to be plainly showing.
“Oh, this?” he unsheathed the sword about half way. “It’s a sword. Its not anything particularly special, though it does have a thinner blade then common ones I guess. Makes it striking quick easier.”
Lev's Sword. Lev's Hidden blade concept.
(based off AC3, Connor's design. except they are under his gloves not a brace.)
A nice weapon... but it's only so good as it's owner. Do you know any techniques?
“Heh. I know a thing or two, but why would I tell you that?” Lev shook his head. You’d think with all the questions someone was out to get him or something!

Hmm... Being here you must surely have a past. Can you tell me about it?
Lev shook his head. “I would rather not talk about that, thanks.” He crossed his arms.
Leviathan almost never liked to talk about his past, or even think about it really…. It reminded him of his failures.
Leviathan had a pretty normal early childhood. He lived with his parents, and two siblings: Older brother, Kale, and little sister Chloe. They did “normal” family things, at least for their society. His family ran a small farm that helped out their small community with food. Lev and Chloe didn’t really help much, Chloe really liked the animals, and since Kale was old enough to help out with actual productive things, Lev sort of watched and ran around with her.
When Lev was about ten years old however, they’re parents took a trip to the capital city, because they had never actually been before.
They never came back, and the town had never heard from them again, or even what had happened to them. But after a few months of waiting, things seemed out of place. Eventually, everyone gave up hope for them, and the small community stepped in to help with raising Lev and his siblings.
They stayed on their little farm, and it was mostly run by Kale and Leviathan from then on. Chloe helped too, mostly with the animal care, but the brothers basically had it under control.
In the years past, Kale taught Leviathan to spar when they weren’t working on things. It seemed like fun, but Lev was constantly frustrated that he could never be at his brother in these little fights. Kale was a big and strong guy, so basically he could just sit on Leviathan and win. This is how Lev learned to fight the way that he does currently. He learned pretty quick that he could not copy how his brother had instructed him to fight. Lev did not have the sheer strength it would take to simply hit his brother and take him down. He discovered that he was a lot faster however, and was much quicker to evade any attacks against him then anything else.
Life went on pretty good for them until Leviathan was about fifteen or sixteen. Kale decided to send him off to the capital city to see if there was any sort of equipment that would make things a little easier on them. After all, they knew that things were more advanced there, so it was at least worth a shot.
Leviathan left for about 2 weeks, it did take a while to switch over countries. However, he hadn’t spent very long at all in the capital before weird black creatures started popping up.
This frightened Leviathan greatly. Being in the city itself had already made him feel unsettled since it was very different from home, and, this was where his parents were probably last seen. That last thought, plus the heartless made him all too willing to leave again. He didn’t want to disappear on his siblings like their parents had. He knew all to well that he was needed back home. Kale would understand if it meant his life, or at least he hoped.
On his journey back home however, Leviathan started seeing more of the black creatures popping up. They weren’t very hard for him to take down with a few swipes of his sword, or newly acquired “hidden blades” one of the few things that he had found could be quite useful. They were much easier then carrying a knife around. The black creatures however were increasingly growing in numbers, and he knew that not everyone around here knew how to defend themselves.
He rushed home as fast as he could, but nothing was there waiting for him. most of the town was gone, more black things coming out of buildings to attack him. Leviathan ran from them, looking for Kale and Chloe to make sure they were ok.
He never found them either. He searched all over for them while fending off the damned black creatures. Soon after, his world was devoured entirely.
Leviathan awoke again in Traverse Town. He was very, very confused, and wondered around, by himself until he found people to clear his confusion. Those black creatures were called heartless, and according to the people he asked, his world was gone, eaten up by them. This was the place where people went when they lost their worlds.
Leviathan went of on a frantic search for his siblings again, hoping that they had ended up here, but no one he asked, or anywhere he looked, he couldn’t find them… they were gone. This tore Leviathan apart. It had always bugged him that they had had no closure for their missing parents… but now both of them too!? Everyone he had ever cared about, gone, and no real explanation as to why.
Lev mopped around Traverse Town for a while, maybe even a few years before finding a way out. If he was stuck on his own, he at least wanted the chance to explore. There was nothing to do in traverse town, and it drove him crazy. So as soon as he could, he left.
Then answer this... what kind of person are you really?
“What’s with the personal questions?” Lev raised a brow at the moogle.
“I don’t know what kind of person I “really” am, but I know what kind of person I think I am.” Lev sighed.
“I’d like to say that I’m pretty mature for my age at least. I’ve had to deal with a lot that made me become a bit more responsible with my actions.” Leviathan thought for a moment and chuckled. Well that made him sound so boring! “I’m not a very serious person however. I don’t like to take things serious, even if they really should be. I figure as long as whatever needs to be dealt with is dealt with, why be boring about it?” He cracked a smile. “I don’t like to sit still either. I need to be doing something or I’ll go out of my mind.”
Lev has another side that he won’t mention to anyone. He’s very regretful and pretty self-hating, even if he doesn’t act it. He hides everything by being generally pretty out going or very sarcastic and non-interested in “serious” topics.
So then, what side do you affiliate with?
“Why do I have to pick I side? I don’t want to get in some fight I don’t know about, thanks. Picking some side seems like a dumb idea. I’d rather stay neutral and uninvolved.”
Every strength is wielded for a reason. What are your dreams and aspirations?
“Its not really a dream, since those tend to be a bit more fantasy-based, but I have one main desire, even if I know it is stupid and hopeless. I want answers.” He made a fist at his side. “Answers… or, I guess, my “dream” would be to have the problems that need said answers to have never existed in the first place. If there was just thing I could have-“ he caught himself and waved his hand dismissively at the moogle “Never mind, stupid question.”
Though it seems trivial, perhaps you should tell me what you like?
“Uh…” He was taken a little off guard. No one had ever really asked him “What he liked” before. Then again, that was because it hadn’t be often that there was new people who didn’t know much about him back home.
“I don’t know. I like living things I guess. People, animals. They’re good.” He looked around, unsure if he had anything else to add. “I basically just like to mess around.”
Assuming you're telling the truth, then you surely must have dislikes. Do you care to reveal those?
More serious questions? He thought, shaking his head. “Well I’m not giving you some like, fear or anything, just saying.” “I don’t like being out of the loop. Let’s just put it at that. Not knowing things bugs the hell out of me.”
Interesting. Do you acknowledge your weaknesses?
“No.” Lev answered quickly glared towards the moogle.
His main weakness lies in recalling his past. He feels strongly that if he would have been there he’d still have his siblings with him. He blames himself. People Lev cares about is probably his only true weakness.
Weaknesses are strong when they are acknowledged. I'm sure you have strengths as well...
“I think the fact that I get along with people is a strength.” He brushed his bangs back with his hand. “It’s not super deep or anything, but in fighting I have a huge strength in my speed.”
I never would have guessed, kupo! So, tell me, kupo.. What's the secret password, kupo?
“I don’t need some stupid password, I do what I want.”
I am running out of time here, but before I must go, how did you find your way here?
“ I don’t know really. I wander.”
