Zidane glanced over his shoulder and smiled a bit.
"Oh, hey! A Moogle! My name's Zidane Tribal, nice to meet you!" he gave the pom-pom a poke as he knelt down.
Is that what everyone calls you, kupo?
"Sure do! Most know me as Zidane the Great! Or Zidane the Handsome! his tail twitched when the Moogle shook his head. "Ahh... no fooling you, huh? Really, though, some call me Monkey Boy cause of my tail, and well... I was once called the "Angel of Death"... but that's a different story."
That's a great name for a girl, kupo! You... are a girl, aren't you, kupo?
"Like Hell, I'm a girl!" Zidane half gasped, half laughed out loud.
O-of course! I was just... messing around, kupo! Ahem. Anyway, kupo. Uh. How old are you, kupo?
He stopped laughing after a moment, and rubbed his eyes. "That was rich... heh... anyways, my age? Uh... honestly, I dunno. I think I'm about 17...ish...? When Baku raised me, he had me for a while... Close to 18, according to him."
Really? Everyone lately seems to be strange, kupo... so... no offense...but what species are you, kupo?
"I'm a Genome, from the planet of Terra, though I was raised on Gaia."
I knew that... It's just this light in here, kupo... my eyes can't focus... what do you look like, kupo?
Zidane stepped forward into the light.
I-interesting...Which world is your home, kupo?
"I'm from the planet Gaia."
I see... That's an interesting looking weapon, kupo. What do you call it, kupo?

"These are a pair of Daggers called Mage Mashers! They can clip together to make a double sword if I need them to. Then they are called the Ogre!"

"There really isn't a WHOLE lot... but I'll give it my best shot to see what I can do, covering whatever holes I might leave."
He takes a deep breath.
Basically, I was born on another world entirely. I was created to be an Angel of Death, a weapon to assist in assimilating two worlds into one, basically one planet eating the other... I was apparently dumped on Gaia out of jealousy by my brother, Kuja... I was found by Baku, the leader of a thieves group called Tantalus.
Years later, Regent Cid, who was over Lindblum, sent us off to abduct Garnet to bring her back, because of her mother waging war against other countries. Surprisingly... She actually ordered me to kidnap her, much to my delight. After a daring escape, Brahne opened fire, causing our ship to careen out of control and land in the forest below. After we pulled ourselves together, we found that Vivi and Garnet were missing... We discovered them and after seeing Garnet captured by that plant, I... felt this sudden rush of emotion. It was then that I discovered my latent powers through Trance, and assisted Steiner, the leader of the Pluto Knights, and Vivi, a young Black Mage that stumbled onto our entourage during out escape, in saving Garnet. The forest started petrifying, and we all got out... well, everyone except Blank...
Zidane sighed at the memory, remembering his despair at knowing his friend was trapped in the forest.
Anyways, after that, using the Map Blank gave me, we decided to cut through the Ice Caves, where we were all put to sleep by what I found out to be Black Waltz #. I woke up, and fought him alone, saving everyone else. Exiting the cave, we all came across the town of Dali, where we found a... Black Mage factory. Mainly because they kidnapped Vivi, and tried shipping him off to Alexandria. We commandeered the ship ourselves to save him, and I hijacked it to try and get to Lindblum. Another Black Waltz appeared, and we took him out, narrowly escaping... We arrived at Lindblum, barely making it.
Arriving, we visited with the Regent (who was very Ogloppy), and I took a small stroll around my hometown. I ran into an old friend of mine, Freya the Dragoon. Deciding to join the Festival of the Hunt, I went to the castle to tell Dagger, who was very concerned about her mother... To try and make her feel better, I made her a bet. If I win, we go on a date! After the celebrations, however, a Burmecian soldier came, severely wounded, and collapsed. I had Dagger stay behind as we plotted to go to Burmecia, but we were all had. Dagger put sleeping herbs in our drinks, and we all fell asleep while her and Steiner went back to Alexandria.
We traveled to Burmecia, where we find Beatrix, Queen Brahne, and... Kuja. We challenged Beatrix, but she defeated us and left us for dead. We recovered, and after licking our wounds, we gave chase to try and save Cleyra, but... once again, we arrived much too late. The Queen had invoked Odin to destroy everything, and we had to stow away on her ship to avoid certain death... It was there we found out that she wanted to kill Dagger...
Zidane clenched his fist.
We arrived ahead of her, and we saved Dagger while Steiner and Beatrix, now on our side, covered our tracks. We heard that Kuja possibly resided in the Iifa Tree, so, we trekked along, arriving in the town of Conde Petie, where Dagger and I had to get married to see the Iifa Tree.
He smirked slightly, reminiscing in the memory for a moment, then continued.
Anyways, we go the rite and gain passage, passing through the land of Summoners, meeting up with Eiko the Summoner, then finding that Kuja and the Queen were at war at the Iifa Tree. The Queen summoned Bahamut, but the Dragon was turned on it's summoner, and destroyed her entire fleet, killing the Queen... Dagger was devastated... I felt awful, despite all the evil that the Queen had caused due to Kuja... it wasn't really... HER fault..
But, Dagger... no... Garnet was crowned Queen, and, well.. she had to stay in Alexandria. But, then Kuja appeared, attacking Alexandria, prompting Garnet and Eiko to awaken the castle itself! But... he showed up. Garland, piloting the ship, the Invincible, and destroyed Alexander, and the Kingdom of Alexandria. Garnet was devastated by the sudden destruction of her Kingdom, and was rendered mute for a time... But we got back together, and journeyed off to face Kuja at the Desert Palace... but I'll be damned if he didn't expect us. Capturing my friends, he forced me to get the Gulug Stone for him, and, we then followed him through a portal to... Terra.
Bran Bal, the village where several other Genomes who looked like me resided... and I found my 'sister' Mikoto, who told me who I was, sorta...
Zidane, looked down, remembering his depression when he realized his purpose was to destroy Gaia and have it assimilate Terra...
I lost my will to live. I lost my will to... feel. I felt as though I was worthless... my whole life meant nothing if I was created to destroy everything. But... my friends... everyone... Garnet... they call came to me and reminded me that my purpose was clear...
He looked up.
To protect everyone!
We then faced Garland, and, upon his defeat, Kuja showed up, and used the souls trapped in the Invincible to attain Trance, and well... handed our butts to us, causing us to gather the Genomes and leave Terra, which was promptly destroyed.
We chased Kuja to the Crystal World, and backed him into a corner together... but he used Ultima in an attempt at a desperate act of panic, and we ended up in the Hills of Despair, where the strangest thing happened... A being called Necron appeared, and deemed that he would destroy everything... We fought him, and, when he was defeated, we were warped from the Crystal World to the roots of the Iifa Tree, which was in it's death throes... I stayed behind to get Kuja, and found him in the roots of the tree, heavily injured... I dove to protect him, and all went black...
I woke up in the Black Mage village some time later, having been nursed back to health by the other Genomes... Kuja and I traveled together to get off of that continent, and it took us about six months to get a Moogle to help us get an Airship, which I used to intercept Tantalus, and, well... payed Marcus to let me pose as him to surprise Garnet in Alexandria... and trust me, she was surprised!!
I had joined Tantalus to go back to Lindblum to pick up some stuff, and let Regent Cid know I was ok, as well as the others there, but... on the way back, everything suddenly went Dark... and I found myself in a strange town... No idea how, or why... but I couldn't find anyone! But I will find them!
Hmm... well, could you tell me what kind of person you are, kupo?
Whaat? Seriously? Come on, I just told you my life's story! Ugh... Well, if you didn't get it there, I guess I'm a pretty nice guy... narcissistic at times... But, I always strive to take care of my friends, no matter what... I'm a little weak hearted, and well, have confidence issues, I guess... heh.
Anyways, other than that, I'm pretty thick skulled at times, stubborn, but, I'm always sure of myself, and would never give up. Ever.

I'd really, really, really like to find my friends again... Since I was thrown from my home, I've been searching for them, and can't seem to find any of them... Makes me wonder if they're... ok."
