The teen halted to a stop as he noticed a strange creature that looked friendly enough so but stayed wit h a little caution when answering as it looked to strange to be human.
"My name is James Cabuelo although I'm not sure why you would want to know that"
I'm sure you've had your share of troubles, kupo. If you don't mind would you tell me what your friends call you? kupo.
As the creature said this James started to relax allowing him to trust this creature a little more.
"My friends often call me Jamie"
That's a good boy name, kupo. You are a boy, are you not, kupo?
James thought it was obvious although i guess for this creature it was hard to tell.
"Yeah I'm a boy so why are you asking all these questions anyways? "
Think of it as an exam, kupo. Here I will judge your answers based on how you answer them, kupo. So how old are you, kupo?
James looked in shock at the creature. An Exam?! He wasn't good at those but he would try his best to pass.
"I'm fourteen although most people think i am much younger do to my size"
You are the funniest moogle I have ever seen, kupo. What sort of creature are you?
James almost fell over backwards from that question but caught himself mid-fall. This guy thought he was a moogle? What was a moogle? James assumed that this creature here was a moogle and thought he was talking to a fellow moogle. James let out a laugh as he told the moogle about it. I'm a Human and i can safely say i am not a moogle."
Well of course I can't see you very well, with you standing in the shadows like that. How could I tell what you look like?
James didn't even think about the fact he was in the shadows. So he stepped under a lit lamp post to reveal what he looks like.

James just assumed he was on Asgard along with the fact that this exam was getting a little personal. James tried to trust this moogle so for this exam so he gave it his best shot.
"I'm from a town in the Koa' province called Hykan"
“Asgard” Asgard is a world governed by a factor of life sort of like the ultimate law that everyone obeys. Along with this there is the Asgard Mirror which seals away Darkness and provides endless Light. So to protect the whole planet of Asgard it was split into four shards and placed in each of the four compass directions of the world… They were placed at the far ends of the globe to provide a barrier from all dark forces.
The world itself has 4 continents each on its separate pole that holds their shard for it and a small country named Koa’ that
lies in the center of the poles. Koa’ is forest like area with some wild animals and many an adventurer will want to go to it for a chance to see the “Sacred Flame of Asgard” A holy flame that burns in a white hue and shines like a star. Next to it is a small town called Hykan which James happens to live in.
I see... Do you carry a weapon on you? if so describe it, kupo.
James had no weapons on him but previously wielded a powerful flaming sword he had made with just a ordinary sword, some oil and the holy flame. But now he had nothing on him.
"Sorry no, I have no weapons"
Sword of Asgard: The Asgard Mirror given new form after hit with the “White Light Ray” When the sword breaks it will revert
back to the mirror. This sword has no special properties other than being able to be used with magic.
I see... Do you know any techniques?
James knew all to well about this one and knew he had none save for all the hidden ones he knows nothing about.
"Again no I have no techniques other then the ones i make up on the spot"
White Light Ray: A basic beam of light that can pass through crystals and reflect of glass also can be used to blind foes.
Effect : Target loses 1 Action for the Duration of this attack; Rather that 3 Actions per post, they have only 2.

Crystal Armor: Light particles form to make a crystal armor that protects the upper body from most Low and Medium physical attacks and allows "White Light Ray" to pass through its crystals.

Crystal Barrage: Can only be used when "Crystal Armor" is used. The spiky crystals formed on the armor are launched into the air as projectiles and land in random formations that can then be formed into different attacks when combined with "White Light Ray" but only if all of the crystals are intact.

The Prism Star: Can only be used when "Crystal Barrage" and a "White Light Ray" move has been used right after the other. This move uses the interconnected Crystals and light to form a star on the ground that traps the foe then as it starts to shine it will
explode in a immense burst of light energy that completely destroys the star and most likely the foe. The explosion is within the radius of the star.

Mirage: Jamie's inner emotions of hatred and revenge given form. James will change into this form when or if he has extreme feelings of hatred and anger towards someone whether it be friend or foe. This form changes his hair silver and his eyes red along with giving him a new set of clothing that matches that of an assassin. Mirage has poor attack strength and defense but makes up for that with his awesome speed and agility. Mirage takes one of the slots reserved for James' 5th attack with an attack of his own named "Afterimage."

Afterimage : (Only usable as Mirage) This attack allows Mirage to make a transparent decoy that helps with dodging attacks and magic as well as being able to fool the enemy or launch a sneak attack. If it is still standing when the cooldown is over, another can be made, and both will be in play.

James was hoping this would end soon he had to figure out where he was so he could re-trace his steps.
"All i remember is that i was at the Asgardian Light Festival then i ended up getting picked then i was tossed up in adventure towards the Northern Asgard Shard but before i could even get there i was attacked by a man named Nesra who was also picked but to my surprise i was no match for him until of course I used the holy flame i happened to take with my lantern before he destroyed the shrine holding the sacred flame.
Then I ended up killing him after being enraged about this one fact yet for some odd reason Nesra had the other 3 shard in his ashes. What surprised me the most was the Demon that came out of the ground after and absorbed Nesra's remains to a ninja like form. I stood no chance until i threw the sword into the belly of the beast and the shards combined together and sealed it away. After that most of my memory is foggy but i do remember looking for my grandparents and some strange black creatures attacking. After that I cannot remember anymore."
Everyone knows that the Universe is a vast ocean of planets and its current may pass by many of them as they lie unaffected. This is a tale of a planet that did get affected by the current as it lay dormant in darkness for who knows how long. This is the tale of Asgard the planet of resources and hope. Asgard had one factor of life that
kept everything going and that was “Keep hope in your hearts and our dream alive”. Not many questioned this factor and they lived in peace since then.
This province where many lived was called Koa’ (Co_A) they all lived in a small town called Hykan (High_Can) where technology wasn’t far ahead in the times as rockets and planes were not invented yet and trains and cars were the main transportation for getting around. Hykan was area with mostly market areas scattered with trees and the occasional animal or two that happens to cross.
This is the tale of the boy who's light was so bright that it cast a shadow on his very home. The story started at the end of a work night. He sat at the table with his grandparents- he'd lived with them since he was young, due to his parents being murdered by an unknown assailant. (heartless) They spoke of the days and how they went, James' new position as Employee of the Month, of the future Light Festival, and how they'd be going the next day.
That morning they arrived soon after they started the ceremony. The priest made many speeches about the importance of the ceremony and then started choosing the contenders. As they were picked James ended up being one of them.
Everyone was given supplies before going on their trip to their set destination. James got a whole backpack, some light leather armor and a Sword and Shield. James hugged his grandparents goodbye and they gave him a
Lantern for good luck. James was headed to the Northern Asgard Shard which was a somewhat easy path even for someone his age.
The whistle blew and everyone started heading towards the center of Koa' then towards their direction.
James hurried into the warriors path which lead to the center of Koa'. James was given the easiest path right next to Isaac who was the same age as him who got the 2nd easiest path. Although James did have to fight sometimes like a pack of 3 wolves that almost got the upper hand on James.
James was lucky to have been taught the basics of swordsmanship although he never once used a sword before. He certainly got good practice on those wolves.
Though he didn't want to fight he had to help with this time honored tradition.
As James trekked the stone path he noticed more and more that he was given the easy path as not many wild animals attacked him. James saved up the animal pelts from the wolves along with the meat hoping to later use it.
James made it to a small checkpoint for travelers and there for all for contenders but at different points of travel. James used money he was given for the trip and bought some Crafting tools while also selling the pelts for more rations.
James had a good amount of survival experience now but not as much of battle training. James departed from the checkpoint and down the stone path again.
James now found himself at the foot of Koa's Center which was a huge shrine with four giant statues of the original four warriors who took the "Asgard Mirror" and split into four Asgard shards while each of them were placed in each of the individual compass directions giving endless Life and Light to the planet of Asgard. The statues all faced the compass direction they represent while in the center lay the Sacred Flame of Asgard.
Ordinary James was required to use a torch but the Lantern he was given by his grandparents makes things easier on him as the flame won't go out when protected by the lantern.
James reached out and took a bit of the flame with his lantern as he set off for the northern shard felt a wave of air hit his back as he heard a loud boom coming from the direction of the Sacred flame. James quickly turned around to see someone or something standing in the place of where the shrine used to be. As James looked in horror of what this thing had done he saw that this thing was indeed a person. But James knew no one with the power to blow up an entire shrine that size.
James was mad now but he couldn't do much but ready his sword for battle. James had no idea what he was up against and didn't care as he had to fight off this thing before it destroyed the village.
James charged in without a plan of action sword and shield ready. James got closer to see it was the mysterious man Nesra which didn't stop James from swinging in from the left and aiming towards Nesra's head. </span></p>
With no attempt to dodge Nesra raised his right wrist in defense with no protective gear on it. James had him he would slice off his hand then his head no matter how gross that would have been for him to see he wanted
revenge for the shrine and the Scared flame. As the blade made it to Nesra's wrist the blade stopped cold as if it hit as steel shield. James could not believe it what was this person if he could even call Nesra a person.
James stepped back and tried for multiple slashes using a technique he made up on the spot called "Windmill Blade" Which was really him just spinning his sword around using his arm whist running at the foe.
James had no techniques other than made up ones.
Nesra caught the sword as it was spinning between his index finger and middle finger leaving James really mad. James wasn't even thinking about why Nesra attacked the shrine and what he wanted. James just had revenge on his mind.
James thought of a new technique which might work this time. James used his oil he got from the crafting set. James hoped this would work as he spread oil on his sword and lit it with the Scared Flame he had left in his lantern making sure to also preserve some. The Blade caught fire and lit up like the sacred flame. James called this move "The Holy Sword of Asgard". This is probably the only technique that James made up which might work.
Nesra wasn't too impressed as he scoffed at his feeble attempts of beating him.
James swung directly above Nesra as he caught it again with his hand. Nesra felt weaker suddenly as he needed both hands to grab it then suddenly fell to his knees while holding the sword before it was to late and the slash made contact. Nesra was sliced in half and the Sacred Flame burned away the rest leaving no blood and only ashes.
James who was to focused on revenge just realized he just killed someone.
He was about to scream but something happened. The area around Nesra was falling apart and crumbling into nothing. James had no idea what was going on but he needed to find help. Suddenly out from one of the holes came a red skinned hand with white claws.
James was afraid and not just that he was running from it whatever it was.
Out of nowhere something with Long white hair, red skin, glowing green eyes, and red horns coming from its head as it appeared in front of James.
The ashes of Nesra attached itself to the body of the Red Demon and covered its body from head to toe in black ninja garb. This thing had fangs and claws as well as ninja weapons at its disposal. (this is actually Nesra's true form)
Now James was straight up terrified. James knew he had barely a chance against Nesra but a Demon?! There was no way he'd live through it!
James had no idea what to do. The Demon suddenly threw shurikens at James. James ducked and covered behind the shrine now noticing that there was something shining on the ground near where he defeated Nesra. As Nesra continued his assault he made with a downward strike on James.
James quickly countered with Holy Blade which was starting to wear off then dived for the shining thing where Nesra's ashes were. It turned out to be the other three asgard shards. James had no idea why Nesra had these
and how he got all of them but right now he payed it no mind as he threw his sword into the belly of the beast. The mirror acted on its own shined a light on Nesra as it combined the other pieces together to seal away the weakened Nesra who had a holy sword in his gut.
But there was one problem now and James did not know if it.
Asgard was no longer protected from Darkness as its very Life-force was used to seal away a Demon that took on human form.
James thought it was over as he took the mirror and placed it on the remains of the shrine but it was far from over. As James Looked in the Mirror he felt safe. Suddenly the mirror shined a light on James as he looked into it. James saw something different in the refection. It was him but he had Silver hair and red eyes.
James not understanding the situation when suddenly the mirror hit him with a ray of light that filled James with power a power that felt warm and safe. James looked into the mirror again to see his normal reflection. Unknown to him he had created a demon from all those built up emotions he had towards Nesra. A inner darkness that he had unleashed no thanks to the demon world which he had sealed Nesra in.
As James wondered what happened to his lookalike the ground started to shake and strange black creatures with yellow eyes were looking at him funny. James ran for it as they seemed hostile. Then something happened that was just hard to believe. A massive one of those creatures with a giant heart shaped hole in its chest was attacking the city while more of the little ones were attacking people.
James rushed to find his grandparents but he was stopped by the lookalike of himself he saw in the mirror! As James attempted to flee from his lookalike Mirage attempted to blast him with dark energy but the Asgard Mirror reflected the attack back saving James.
The planet was starting to crumble beneath him! James could do nothing but hold onto dear life to the Mirror as its light carried him away from his crumbling planet.
Then answer this... what kind of person are you really?
Every strength is wielded for a reason. What are your dreams and aspirations?
"I aspire to be a great chef someday. But to do that I have realized that I may have to travel many places and learn new things to even start. Like move past rice which happens to be what I'm best at."
During his travels he hopes to make his own cookbook filled with recipes he has made over his travels Although he may find many exotic ingredients and plenty of new people to learn from he does know he will have to fight. Fighting is not his strong suit although he has trained a bit to make it through his travels.
Though it seems trivial, perhaps you should tell me what you like?

James likes to cook although it is more than that he likes to make things that people will enjoy. James also likes learning from other instructors although if it isn’t about cooking he may not be as interested. But the main thing James likes is his friends and family.

"Demons and Heights! I just don't like those."
He also dislikes when a cooking experiment goes wrong.

"I'm not the best runner. I was always in dead last in my school track team."
Other than being to overly trusting and insecure he has been poorly trained in swordsmanship and self-defense. James is
a slow runner and not the best attacker when it comes to physical strength. James is by all means not fit for close-combat.
Weaknesses are strong when they are acknowledged. I'm sure you have strengths as well...

James is by all means one of the best cooks in “Hykan” a small town in the province of Koa’ as his rice dishes have pleased the pallet with its many varieties of sides and sauces.
James is a strong enough mage thanks to the power of the Asgard Mirror but he still needs to learn to use his powers. James has learned how to survive on his own thanks to his trip to the northern asgard shard

Nesra caught the sword as it was spinning between his index finger and middle finger leaving James really mad. James wasn't even thinking about why Nesra attacked the shrine and what he wanted. James just had revenge on his mind.
James thought of a new technique which might work this time. James used his oil he got from the crafting set. James hoped this would work as he spread oil on his sword and lit it with the Scared Flame he had left in his lantern making sure to also preserve some. The Blade caught fire and lit up like the sacred flame. James called this move "The Holy Sword of Asgard". This is probably the only technique that James made up which might work.
Nesra wasn't too impressed as he scoffed at his feeble attempts of beating him.
James swung directly above Nesra as he caught it again with his hand. Nesra felt weaker suddenly as he needed both hands to grab it then suddenly fell to his knees while holding the sword before it was to late and the slash made contact. Nesra was sliced in half and the Sacred Flame burned away the rest leaving no blood and only ashes.
James who was to focused on revenge just realized he just killed someone.
He was about to scream but something happened. The area around Nesra was falling apart and crumbling into nothing. James had no idea what was going on but he needed to find help. Suddenly out from one of the holes came a red skinned hand with white claws.
James was afraid and not just that he was running from it whatever it was.
Out of nowhere something with Long white hair, red skin, glowing green eyes, and red horns coming from its head as it appeared in front of James.
The ashes of Nesra attached itself to the body of the Red Demon and covered its body from head to toe in black ninja garb. This thing had fangs and claws as well as ninja weapons at its disposal. (this is actually Nesra's true form)
Now James was straight up terrified. James knew he had barely a chance against Nesra but a Demon?! There was no way he'd live through it!
James had no idea what to do. The Demon suddenly threw shurikens at James. James ducked and covered behind the shrine now noticing that there was something shining on the ground near where he defeated Nesra. As Nesra continued his assault he made with a downward strike on James.
James quickly countered with Holy Blade which was starting to wear off then dived for the shining thing where Nesra's ashes were. It turned out to be the other three asgard shards. James had no idea why Nesra had these
and how he got all of them but right now he payed it no mind as he threw his sword into the belly of the beast. The mirror acted on its own shined a light on Nesra as it combined the other pieces together to seal away the weakened Nesra who had a holy sword in his gut.
But there was one problem now and James did not know if it.
Asgard was no longer protected from Darkness as its very Life-force was used to seal away a Demon that took on human form.
James thought it was over as he took the mirror and placed it on the remains of the shrine but it was far from over. As James Looked in the Mirror he felt safe. Suddenly the mirror shined a light on James as he looked into it. James saw something different in the refection. It was him but he had Silver hair and red eyes.
James not understanding the situation when suddenly the mirror hit him with a ray of light that filled James with power a power that felt warm and safe. James looked into the mirror again to see his normal reflection. Unknown to him he had created a demon from all those built up emotions he had towards Nesra. A inner darkness that he had unleashed no thanks to the demon world which he had sealed Nesra in.
As James wondered what happened to his lookalike the ground started to shake and strange black creatures with yellow eyes were looking at him funny. James ran for it as they seemed hostile. Then something happened that was just hard to believe. A massive one of those creatures with a giant heart shaped hole in its chest was attacking the city while more of the little ones were attacking people.
James rushed to find his grandparents but he was stopped by the lookalike of himself he saw in the mirror! As James attempted to flee from his lookalike Mirage attempted to blast him with dark energy but the Asgard Mirror reflected the attack back saving James.
The planet was starting to crumble beneath him! James could do nothing but hold onto dear life to the Mirror as its light carried him away from his crumbling planet.
Then answer this... what kind of person are you really?
"What kind of person? Well I'm a giving person and very open with people. Although I'm not good at fighting i have sometimes had those times where I got better. Also i think I'm a very honest person."
James is more of the shy type around new people and does not like fighting but don’t let that fool you he’s got sort of a brave streak in him. James tends to be very open with people he knows and very generous too but sometimes he taken advantage of because of that and there was not much he could do but ignore those people. James is a very kind person and things like darkness and demons can really change things for him.
Currently James is really just a kid who likes to cook and give to people. He will eventually learn to use his power as he progresses. But until then he’s just a normal person clueless on how to use his power. Although he may not know it he has a brave streak that helps him with things such as cooking or battling monsters. He also has hidden powers he has locked within that he doesn't know about a sort of inner power that can be unlocked under certain conditions.
So then, what side do you affiliate with?
"There are sides?" James said as he raised a eyebrow but then said "Well if there was a good side then i would pick that"Every strength is wielded for a reason. What are your dreams and aspirations?
"I aspire to be a great chef someday. But to do that I have realized that I may have to travel many places and learn new things to even start. Like move past rice which happens to be what I'm best at."
During his travels he hopes to make his own cookbook filled with recipes he has made over his travels Although he may find many exotic ingredients and plenty of new people to learn from he does know he will have to fight. Fighting is not his strong suit although he has trained a bit to make it through his travels.
Though it seems trivial, perhaps you should tell me what you like?
James wondered if he was near the end of the exam.
"I like to cook of course and learn from others how to do so"
James likes to cook although it is more than that he likes to make things that people will enjoy. James also likes learning from other instructors although if it isn’t about cooking he may not be as interested. But the main thing James likes is his friends and family.
Then you surely must have dislikes. Do you care to reveal those?
"Demons and Heights! I just don't like those."
He also dislikes when a cooking experiment goes wrong.
Interesting. Do you acknowledge your weaknesses?
"I'm not the best runner. I was always in dead last in my school track team."
Other than being to overly trusting and insecure he has been poorly trained in swordsmanship and self-defense. James is
a slow runner and not the best attacker when it comes to physical strength. James is by all means not fit for close-combat.
Weaknesses are strong when they are acknowledged. I'm sure you have strengths as well...
"I don't really have many strengths besides being a good rice cook"
James is by all means one of the best cooks in “Hykan” a small town in the province of Koa’ as his rice dishes have pleased the pallet with its many varieties of sides and sauces.
James is a strong enough mage thanks to the power of the Asgard Mirror but he still needs to learn to use his powers. James has learned how to survive on his own thanks to his trip to the northern asgard shard
