[[OOC:KAIRI AND ANYONE ELSE WHO READS, BRING A BOX OF TISSUES. YOU SHALL NEED IT.]]
You don't seem like you're from around here, kupo. What's your name, kupo?
The hooded woman frowned down at the moogle in the coat. Why was such a small creature doing out at night? He could easily be caught by any of the Heartless or confronted by a less ideal individual with a pocket knife.
Selena “Artemis” Wolfsong”
Is that what everyone calls you, kupo?
“Mhm. Just ‘Artemis’.” She sighed under her breath before musing. I’ve been also called ‘Nightmare’, Sel, and Selly in the past, but I don’t want anyone to hear this unless they want their Heart fed to the Heartless . How did I get caught in this conversation anyway?
That's a good boy name, kupo. You are a boy, are you not, kupo?
Underneath the hood, Selena’s left eye twitched as she managed keep her tone even. “I am a woman.”
Apparently, you cannot tell when I am joking, kupo. You must be an old man with no sense of humor, kupo. How old are you, anyway, kupo?
The hooded woman again frowns at the moogle. She had a perfectly good sense of humor. He just had poor taste. “Twenty-three.”
You are the funniest moogle I have ever seen, kupo. What sort of creature are you?
‘Artemis’ frowns at the strange moogle and glances over her shoulder, suddenly paranoid. Wasn’t it obvious or had he really not seen a human before? “I am human… “
Well of course I can't see you very well, with you standing in the shadows like that. How could I tell what you look like?
The woman steps out of the shadows as she undid the claw-shaped clasp that held the cloak together after removing the hood off her head and casually carried it in her left arm. Beneath her black hair, her cold silver eyes stared down at the moogle as she frowned. Although he couldn’t see her bare back, there were two long, angry scars that traced her shoulder blades as if something that was once there had been carelessly carved off her. Oddly, indigo and black leather suited her pale complexion.

[OOC: I really didn’t want to color. x.x ]
Hmm... and where do you hail from?
A strange question…. muses the dark keybearer as she remembered the freezing-cold home that she once had and closed her eyes as if reminiscing. Although her Heart could never let go of her own people’s cruelty, she could not deny that it was a beautiful place one could consider a winter wonderland. From the glistening Geneva Forest being far west to the windmill to the Crystal Caverns with its internal rainbow of gemstones, Selena decides that she did have some pride left for her homeworld. After all, what world had a windmill that was bigger on the inside? However as every white rose had its thorn, Hope Village has the Europa Mountains to the east where the exiled wandered and Mirror Lake, where the Dark Dragon supposedly slept.
I see... That weapon you have there. What is it?
The Heartsickness
Selena briefly wondered how the moogle knew that she wielded a weapon. She smirks rather briefly before her expressionless frown returned. Beware, the keyblade is rather poisonous. Although it isn’t deadly, it will make even the strongest of Hearts falter for a short amount of time if one doesn’t have a curative spell or potion. [[Cooldown: 3 posts] ] [[Note: Doesn’t work on Nobodies and is highly effective on Heartless.]]
A nice weapon... but it's only so good as it's owner. Do you know any techniques?
The woman smirks. “What fool doesn’t?"
[Passive Powers
Corridors to Darkness: The ability to use the darkness as transportation to travel the worlds and universe. (Cannot be used in battle)
Sweet Suppression: Selena can literally suppress her the power, making it as if she was normal, of her own Heart to make it undetectable to even those who were gifted. It was how she remained hidden for years. However once she releases any of her power in battle or by Corridor, the jig’s basically up. [Passive until Revealed] [No Recovery in Thread Once Revealed ]
Magick/Techniques
Umbra Wolf's Fang: A wolf of darkness comes out of her keyblade and attacks the opponent. It may team up with Selena during the two post duration. It is large enough to be ridden by Selena and/or any of her allies. [Cool Down: 3 Posts]
[Duration: 2 Posts] [Ride-able!]
Umbra Vitis Shield: Selena can raise up many large, thorned vines of darkness to wrap around herself and/or her allies to act like a strong shield. It can be used normally and in her Dark Form. It may also be used in battle and outside of battle. [Cooldown: 1 Post]
Void Extinction: A powerful blast of Darkness shoots from either her keyblade or her hand at the intended target. It may be used normally and in her Dark Form. It can also be used in battle and outside of battle. [Cooldown: 2 Posts]
DMG: Medium
Dark Forms & Armor
[Eblis: Appearance]
With the darkness of her heart, Selena takes on the form of a dragon-like demon of the night. During battle, the most notable difference between this form and her normal form is the increase in speed and strength but a considerable decrease in defense. [Cooldown: 6 Posts] [Duration: 5 Posts]

Hmm... Being here you must surely have a past. Can you tell me about it?
Artemis found herself sighing. Of all the things he could have asked about… “Sorry…But no. I can’t.” The dark keybearer began to walk away from the Moogle, but couldn’t stop thinking about the inquiry. She didn’t wish to tell anyone much less this Moogle. Selena didn’t wish to remember every single memory, most of them painful, that shaped her into who she was now.
Too late….Here comes the flashbacks…Da** you Moogle. I barely get enough sleep as it is.Artemis sighed as flashbacks of her earliest memories and especially of her home world, Hope Village, flooded her mind. Selena missed her cold world despite everything she endured there. The accidental discovery of her power over Heart’s Blood, an icy-cold flame that preferred blood over natural means that had immediately labeled her as an outcast. Selena still appreciated her twin sister’s matching stubbornness and all of the innumerable times she stood by her, no matter how many snowballs they threw at them. She briefly remembered that her situation had something to do with her village’s initial fear of magic and something about the Nightmares, but she couldn’t be sure.
The images of a blood-stained room that Selena certainly remembered was her somewhere inside the windmill and lifeless stares flooded her mind and she grimaced as it skipped over a blank in her memory to the glare of cold hate staring down at her with a gun pointed at her head. It’s not my fault…I had to have been what…five, when that happened…? Selena wondered bitterly.
She also began to remember the events of right before she left home that had happened too fast for her nine-year old mind to comprehend then. The image of her mother dying in her arms and the gunman that was hidden in the shadows was forever imprinted on her Heart. The sound of an argument about Guardianship and keyholes then the gunshot that made the red rose bloom inside her mother’s chest. Selena still remembered her mother’s dying wish and the internal swear to get back on whoever killed her.
But of course, how would a nine year old girl predict that the Heartless would come and invade that day? ‘Artemis’ still remembered a Shadow’s claw carving deep into a man’s chest and removing the Heart before looking away. She had caught the attention of another Shadow and ran for dear life while crying out for her sister. There was madness and corruption everywhere; and the elder twin couldn’t find her sister. ‘Artemis’ grimaced as she remembered the pain of the cuts from the slash the Shadow Heartless did to her right calf as it tripped her into a Corridor. She still has the scars to prove it.
The dark keybearer remembered falling unconscious when she fell in and the dark Station of Awakening she endured. Selena especially remembered the agony of her wings growing in and fighting the Heartless there before the stained glass below her shattered, causing her to fall into the abyss. ‘Artemis’ grimaced from the next unwelcomed memory of waking up in the middle of a war. It had been the sound of gunshots, a sound she grew to both fear and hate, which had returned her to consciousness.
To be specific, Selena remembered waking up being carried by piggy-back by an older girl that appeared to be in her mid-twenties and few feet ahead of her, a man slightly older than her. Lisanna and Bastien became her first friends; and in the fast few weeks that they had stuck together before they died, her Heart would have considered them her foster parents. If I had been closer….I could’ve saved them. mused ‘Artemis’ but she knew that she would have gotten blown up with them if she hadn’t been lagging behind them.
‘Artemis’ remembered that she had taught herself how to use a Corridor to Darkness and hopped from world to world to battle the Heartless and eventually people too. What was the name that they used to call me….Was it “The Nightmare”? wondered the dark keybearer as she kept walking on and wrapped her cloak around herself. Selena felt herself shake in furious anger and fear at the next flash of memories of the last person she didn’t wish to meet. The man that had taken her mother away from her in cold blood had found her a full decade later. Despite using everything she had against him, the dark keybearer lost. Being severely weakened, he stole her Heart’s Blood power and hacked off her wings. To mock her, he had stuck a fraction of Heart’s Blood inside of an empty lighter and threw it at her. Selena casually stuffed her right hand into the cloak pocket and fingered the lighter.
It’s been four years hasn’t it… wondered the dark keybearer, knowing full well that the event had caused her will to fight to dwindle just a bit, but still traveled despite it. She still needed to locate her own home world, Hope Village, among the vast sky of stars after all.
Then answer this... what kind of person are you really?
“Artemis” rather kept to herself and is cold even for a typical dark keybearer. During the fourteen years of traveling on her own, she developed armor over her Heart to shield herself while denying prospective friends while keeping her ‘enemies’ at bay. Selena refuses to show emotion and didn’t wish to show weakness even to newcomers. She may come off as intimidating and paranoid as a result. It would take someone either equally or more stubborn than her to attempt to befriend her because she will resist forming emotional attachments. Because of this, it had made it easier to make the harder choices no one else would be afraid to do, much less think of.
It would take someone either equally or more stubborn than her to attempt to befriend her because she will resist forming emotional attachments. Because of this, it had made it easier to make the harder choices no one else would be afraid to do, much less think of.
If somehow they succeed to gain her trust, the dark keybearer will be both overprotective and loyal. Any promise she makes she will try her hardest to keep until the end unless it just can’t be helped. If a friend should betray her, the phrase “No fury like a woman hath scorned.” definitely applies to Selena Wolfsong. Her otherwise controlled temper and wrath should both be feared.
During the battlefield and sometimes even off it, Selena is an extremely reckless woman despite being able to think on her feet while following her instinct only if her on-the-go strategies failed. H.er observing is a dangerous ally. Her stubbornness can go very far and would even fight if she got really hurt; only going down when knocked unconscious or dead. The dark keybearer does have a tendency of going overboard and has trouble of holding back when determined to win.
So then, what side do you affiliate with?
“I would say that I am on my own.” Although from the looks of it, my path may only lead to the Darkness. ‘Artemis’ shrugged before realizing. “Wait, why are you following me?”
Every strength is wielded for a reason. What are your dreams and aspirations?
Selena sighed. Although the dark angel would never say it out loud, her only wishes were to return home and see her sister again. She desperately wanted to see Solaria smile even if it might be the last thing she’ll ever see and to hug her again whether it be with her wings or her arms. Although this secret may stay with her until her dying day, the lonely keywielder also wants to complete her mother’s dying wish even if it ended with her death.
Though it seems trivial, perhaps you should tell me what you like?
‘Artemis’ hates to admit it out loud, but she has a certain weakness for strawberries because of their sweet taste. She’s also fond of the lighter she has in her cloak pocket and would occasionally pull it out just to flick it on and off. The keywielder enjoyed the emptiness of silence and a good fight. “Stop following me.” She warned the Moogle.
Assuming you're telling the truth, then you surely must have dislikes. Do you care to reveal those?
Selena hates large bodies of water such as oceans and lakes mainly because of her inability to swim, and it messes up the feathers in her wings. Due to certain events, she strongly dislikes guns and sweltering temperatures also.
Interesting. Do you acknowledge your weaknesses?
“What a strange moogle…” mutters ‘Artemis’, raising a brow. The keywielder knew that she couldn’t swim at all and that she couldn’t take hotter climates well otherwise she would get very sick. Although the wielder won’t ever admit it, Selena was also afraid of guns and would tense up and grimace whenever she heard a gunshot. She never liked tight enclosed spaces or her own night terrrors either.
Weaknesses are strong when they are
acknowledged. I'm sure you have strengths as well...
Selena was a fierce warrior when it came to it. However, her observing trait would be considered a deadly after utilizing it to its full potential. Due to her native homeworld, she couldn’t get cold easily [Although limited.] and it actually comforts her. Although it could be seen as a weakness as well as a strength, ‘Artemis’ is very stubborn .
I never would have guessed, kupo! So, tell me, kupo.. What's the secret password, kupo?
