You don't seem like you're from around here, kupo. What's your name, kupo?
"Huh?!" The young thief quickly turned around. She looked at the Moogle with a cold glint in her eye. "My name is Zero Kyari...Not that it's your business." She was clearly bothered by this Moogle asking her questions. If one thing she hated more than anything, it was being asked questions.
Is that what everyone calls you, kupo?
"Yes." Her eyes slightly glowed with her impatience to continue on. "Though, people either use my first name or my last name." She want to be dealing with this right now, but she had no choice. It seemed she wouldn't be able to move on until he had asked all her information. She looked at the ground briefly before flicking a glance this way and that.
That's a good boy name, kupo. You are a boy, are you not, kupo?
"I'm a female." She replied her voice growing low and cold. She was clearly not impressed with the oh-so basic questions. Another thing she hated was being mistaken for a boy.
Apparently, you cannot tell when I am joking, kupo. You must be an old man with no sense of humor, kupo. How old are you, anyway, kupo?
"Do you ever ask other questions? But if you must know I'm 14." This had grown beyond slightly amusing. "14 years, 2 weeks, 3 days, 4 hours, 32 minutes and 10 seconds...To be precise." How or why she kept track of this no one knew, not even her. But she had kept track of it anyway.
You are the funniest moogle I have ever seen, kupo. What sort of creature are you?
"...Why in earth heavens name should I tell you?...Sigh, I'm an animal person. part human part animal. In my case a wolf." This part she hated. Her hearing would pick up sounds that she wasn't looking for and her tail always got in the way when she picked out clothing.
Well of course I can't see you very well, with you standing in the shadows like that. How could I tell what you look like?
This was one thing she didn't like answering, so she thought about the question and answered in her head, for...heavens knows why.
She was small at around 5'4, short silvery hair with silvery blue wolf ears and sapphire blue eyes. Round, emotionless face. Small pointy nose and a thin lined mouth. She can be easily mistaken for a boy because of her slight slim build and because she's flat chested. She tans when she stays out in the sun for too long. Her tail is 20 inches long falling to just above her ankles and the same colour as her ears about 1-2 inches thick.
She can be seen wearing either a black shirt and black shorts with black runners and a black hoodie or a dark electric blue shirt, long black jeans and black runners. When she wears her hoodie she has it forward enough to hide her silver hair and wolf ears but far enough back to reveal her eyes.
She looks weak and fragile. She has no scars but she does have a silver marking in the shape of a diamond on the outside part of her right ankle. Despite her weak and short looks, her pose is quite tall and proud and, even to some, a little intimidating.
Hmm... and where do you hail from?
"....A place called Havens Calling." She thought about how to describe it. "It's a small island planet, it has lots of trees and one beach. Lot's of people like me live there. The sky is as blue as clear water. The houses we live in are houses we build up in the trees or hidden away in a clearing close to the shore front."
She said slowly making sure her description was accurate. But what she didn't mention was that, just as peaceful as it is, there is a lot of conflict and combat training, you can never be too prepared.
I see... That weapon you have there. What is it?
"They are twin daggers and I call them Golden Dragons. Twin daggers are a dual type, close range melee weapon. They are good for offensive and defensive techniques, and offensive and defensive counter techniques." She replied proudly pulling them out and cutting deep into a boulder.
A nice weapon... but it's only so good as it's owner. Do you know any techniques?
"I have five techniques I can perform with these. Three offensive, one defensive and one passive." She started. "My offensive techniques are Spiral and Edge Cutter.
Spiral Cutter: (strong) it can cut through solid rock giving major wounds to any given person or object. Though it takes 3 posts to cooldown. Three post cooldown
DMG: Medium
Sprial Cutter (weak) A copy cat move to the stronger technique but weaker. This weaker version of Spiral Cuttter can make a scratch on a rock. It can give weaker wounds to any given person or object. Two post cooldown.
DMG: Low
Edge Cutter: A piercing technique that is speedy. I rush towards someone and pierce their skin slightly, making them bleed before they realize they've been cut. Cooldown three posts."
DMG: Medium
She stopped to let the moogle take it all in.
"My defensive technique is Crossed Blade.
Crossed Blade: Is where I put my blades in front of myself in a cross formation. It can take up to three attacks before the defenses are broken. One post cooldown.
Can block three attacks
And my passive technique is Heated Heal.
Heated Heal: I can warm up my blades and place them on a minor wound. That minor wound will heal itself according to how hot the blade is, which generally is very hot. More like the heat of a heat bag being put in the microwave for a minute or two. She can only heal three of her minor wounds. One post cooldown"
Heals three points of damage
Damage assessment complete
Hmm... Being here you must surely have a past. Can you tell me about it?
"...Umm...Is that a necessary question? My past is not up for discussion." Zero said rather harshly. But she ended up thinking about what she thought she had forgotten.
She was born exactly 14 years, 2 weeks, 3 days, 32 minutes and 20 seconds ago. She never knew her parents but had grown up in an orphanage with three other kids. They were Chaos, Skye and Rahlia.
When she had first arrived at the orphanage she was two. She was left on the doorstep with a violin a dagger and a note that had read "As darkness rises so shall light. This little angel I'd like you to guide right. Let her be her own person, let her shine bright." As mysterious as the letter was, the girl was even more mysterious. For one she had wolf ears, secondly she had a tail and lastly her eyes were the brightest sapphire the carer had ever seen. But that didn't matter.
As Kyari grew up she began learning. When she was two she could already read, write and swim. At the age of three she began learning to play the violin. When she was four, she began music and English lessons. When she was five she had started all her other lessons. She was six when she played a proper concert in front of the orphanage. When she was seven, she began to learn how to cook. Around the age of eight, she had performed up on stage in front of a small city crowd.
At the age of nine, she became the orphanage cook, around ten years old she had began to become known around the city because of her violin skills. At the age of eleven, someone came to the orphanage just to see if they would like her, and to adopt her, that had failed and Kyari was immensely disappointed. At the age of twelve she began to write her own music and songs for her violin. At the age of thirteen she had singing lessons be able to suit her voice to the strings of the violin. First half of her fourteenth year, she had painted her violin an electric blue and added small black stars to it.
She became a thief in the first half of her fourteenth year, when she was just out on a daily stroll. Someone had tried to attack her. She got badly hurt that day and spent the night out. She had went back to the orphanage the next day to get her violin. She had written a letter to the carer she took off again. She had began to live out in the streets and to steal to survive. No one ever found out who it was, no one ever caught her in the process.
Then answer this... what kind of person are you really?
"Again that is not up for discussion." She said coldly.
Though she did think about it. She was very closed off and keeps to herself. She doesn’t (or tries not to) get involved in other people’s business unless it somehow involves her. She can be fun but over all serious. Zero doesn’t like to be bossed around nor does she like having to do her thing someone else’s way. She is her own person and does things of her own accord. She likes to play violin.
She has little emotion and what she does have she doesn’t show. The emotions she does have are mainly hatred and sorrow. Though as she gets to know potential friends, she will slightly warm up to them, though she never gets fully trusting, then again who does trust people to their full potential?
When people start to worry about her she smiles and tries to have fun just to prolong their worrying. Which only lasts a few days at a time. Zero prefers to be isolated and she likes to do things alone. She very rarely asks anyone to help her to do anything.
So then, what side do you affiliate with?[/color][/b]
"I fight and steal only for my own survival." By this time Zero had sat down and closed her eyes leaning against a rock in the shade.
Every strength is wielded for a reason. What are your dreams and aspirations?
"...I'm a thief, I have no goals...Well...Maybe just one or two...I'd like to be a violinist and a very good twin dagger user." She hesitated a bit as she thought of her answer.
Though it seems trivial, perhaps you should tell me what you like?
"Milk, soft drink, chocolates, lollies, cakes, any kind of sweet food, reading, writing, researching and my twin daggers." She replied rather quickly.
Assuming you're telling the truth, then you surely must have dislikes. Do you care to reveal those?
"Though I really have no reason to tell you and I have no reason to lie about it either, I might as well answer." She thought for a bit before she answered. "Being mistaken for a boy, water and too many questions." She said glaring at the moogle.
Interesting. Do you acknowledge your weaknesses?
"..." She thought about her weaknesses. She can not bare being near water. Having a shower and whatnot is fine, but lakes, rivers, rain etc. She can't stand.
Weaknesses are strong when they are acknowledged. I'm sure you have strengths as well...
"....My brother. Thinking of Chaos...Gives...Me hope...That through this darkness there'll be light...." She trailed off. This was a more personal strength so she wouldn't go too far into it.
I never would have guessed, kupo! So, tell me, kupo.. What's the secret password, kupo?
