As Tifa walked by she couldn't help but stop in front of the small moogle as he inquired her name. "My name is Tifa Lockhart." She kindly answered.
Is that what everyone calls you, kupo?
"As far as I know. No one has called me anything different."
That's a great name for a girl, kupo! You... are a girl, aren't you, kupo?
Tifa couldn't help but let out a small chuckle at the small moogle. "Of course I'm a girl. I wouldn't look like a very tough guy now, would I?"

"I'm 23 years old."
Really? Everyone lately seems to be strange, kupo... so... no offense...but what species are you, kupo?

"I come from a world called Gaia. I grew up there in a town named Nibelheim. I now reside in Edge in the bar that I own and run."
I see... That's an interesting looking weapon, kupo. What do you call it, kupo?
Weapon? She wasn't carrying a weapon.. "I'm more of my own weapon." She replied as she held up one of her hands as it clenched into a fist. "When I was young I took martial arts lessons. I'd prefer to brawl over using a sword any day."
Cool! Do you know any attacks, kupo?
"Of course. I wouldn't be much of a fighter if I didn't know how to fight."

That's not bad, kupo..! Can you tell me anything about your past, kupo?
"Well... I was born in Nibelheim. I grew up there along with Cloud." The next bits of her story weren't filled with laughter though as most stories like this would continue. "We were next door neighbors, but at the time... Me and my other friends never really got to know him very well. And about the time I turned 8... My mother passed away. At the time I didn't really understand what had happened and thought she had gone to Mt. Nibel so I decided to go and venture off to see her.. Cloud tagged along behind me to make sure I was safe... but we ended up falling from an old bridge and when my dad found us, he blamed Cloud.. A few years past and one day Cloud invited me to meet him at the water tower. He told me he was going to venture off and join SOLIDER. He made me a promise that day. That he would protect me if I was ever in trouble."
"After that I started working as a tour guide and began my martial arts training. After taking Sephiroth and his comrades to the reactor, he came back. He began uncovering the truth about himself and was flung into madness... He set the whole town on fire. My father and some of the other towns folk followed him up to the reactor. By the time I got there.. It was too late.. Sephiroth had cut my father down. That's when I began to hate them. I hated Sephiroth. I hated SOLDIER. I hated Shinra.. I took up Sephiroth's sword and went after him. Wanting revenge. I wasn't any match for him... He cut me down."
"After I recovered from my injuries, I joined the rebel group AVALANCHE. I later ran back into Cloud and invited him to work with us. Both so he could give us a hand and.. to keep an eye on him. He wasn't exactly himself." And that's where their real story began. "After a few missions with AVALANCHE, we found that Don Corneo was a Shinra informant. That perverted man was always calling girls up to his mansion, so I came up with the idea to infiltrate it and see what information I could beat out of him. Cloud and Aerith showed up unexpectedly to help and we found out that Shinra was planning on crushing the slums under the plate. We rushed to go help, but we got there too late.. The day ended badly. We lost good friends and Shinra captured Aerith." Her voice hushed into a murmur as she spoke. They weren't times she liked to remember. If only they had gotten there a bit sooner....
"But we rushed to go save Aerith, only to get caught ourselves. Luckily, we all made it out in one piece. So we only had one thing to do after that. Set out after Sephiroth. Though, we ran into a bit of a bump there too. Cloud ended up handing over the Black Materia to Sephiroth and as the crater started to crumble, we all fled. Barrett and myself got captured and were to be executed as a way for Shinra to scare others into showing they were still in control. Luckily, our friends were there to help."
Th next bits of the story were a bit confusing, and she herself wasn't sure how to explain it. "Cloud ended up having to stay in Mideel to rest after having mako overdose.. I stayed behind to watch over him. We ended up falling into the Lifestream. This is going to sound weird, but.. I entered into Cloud's subconscious. I helped him put the pieces of his memory back to the way it was meant to be and I learned things I never knew.. Like how he had been there that day in Nibelheim, and had even watched over me from afar."
"I even stayed behind with him during the final battles with Sephiroth. After that, life was pretty normal. We re-opened the Seventh Heaven in the newly built Edge. Cloud worked as a delivery boy while I took care of Marlene and the bar. One day he brought a boy named Denzel and he joined our little family. But Cloud just seemed to grow more and more distant as the days went by... And one day he up and vanished. I would take Marlene to the church and we'd wait for Cloud to come home. That's when we learned he had the stigma... We had bad timing as Loz came. looking for Jenova's head. The results ended in a fight that I lost and he took Marlene with him.. I had to convince Cloud to go save them." She smiled lightly. "Sometimes I wonder what he'd do without me. But he finally found his strength again to keep going. We stopped Kadaj and saved the children and cured everyone who had the stigma."
She tapped a finger mindfully against her lips as she thought for a moment. "Of course, Cloud always seems to have his way of vanishing now and again. I ended up travelling to other worlds to help him... And though the memories are hazy I recall a war between the gods. But all that matters now is that everyone is together again."
Hmm... well, could you tell me what kind of person you are, kupo?
Tifa lightly tapped a finger on her lip as she thought a moment. She had never really thought of how to describe herself to others.. Honestly, no one had ever asked. "Well, I suppose if I had to answer, I'd say I was a pretty motherly person." She smiled as she thought of the spiky blonde she always seemed to be hounding about taking better care of himself. And it wasn't just him. Anyone she cared for. She'd put her life on the line to protect those that she loved and often cares for others and tends to their needs before taking care of herself.
"I guess I forget about myself in the process sometimes..." She admitted.
"I may seem confident, but, emotionally I'm quite shy... It's hard for me to tell anyone how I really feel. I just tend to keep things like that to myself. But, I'm working on that." Though, of course, it was still hard to not bottle those feelings up. "Other than that, I try to keep moral up among the others and care for each and every one of them. Nothing really too special."
...Oh, kupo... Then... what side do you fight for, kupo?[/color][/b]
"I fight for the Light." She proudly exclaimed.
I don't mean to seem like I'm prying, but what dreams and aspirations do you have, kupo?
Tifa smiled. "I want to protect everyone. And make sure they're all smiling and happy." Nothing unusual about her dreams. "So, I guess you can really just say I want my friends to always be there." She blushed a little."I guess it'd also be nice if a certain delivery boy would stay home a little bit longer. But Cloud will be Cloud I suppose. Always off doing something." She smiled. But he wouldn't be him if he didn't.
Ah, that makes sense, kupo... sorta... well, what do you like, kupo?
That was easy enough. "I enjoy working at my bar. Some people would find it more of a chore but.. it's part of my life. And taking care of Marlene and Denzel is always a joy." She blushed lightly as she quietly added a small extra bit. "It's also nice to see Cloud come home with a smile on his face.."

"While I still don't like Shinra much, we've learned to work with them in order to restore the world to the way it was. Really, I just don't like anything that would bring harm to any of my friends."

Weakness? Well, I suppose knowing I can't protect someone is very crushing. I like to protect everyone who needs me."

She must have sounded like a broken record by now. But she smiled as her strengths were obvious enough. "My friends give me the strength to keep pushing forward. They're the best things that ever happened to me."
