How long had it been? She'd almost lost track of the time...
Tifa had mindfully kept tabs on the bar in between spouts of going off to venture about. Honestly, things were quiet here. Ever since their home had been restored, not much excitement had happened. But, she didn't mind. The peace was more than welcome, but... something still felt... off. The bartender couldn't help but stare blankly at the door, waiting for a certain delivery boy to finally make his way back home.. But, with no luck. Maybe she had just missed him? Maybe he had dropped by earlier in search for her. That seemed to be her luck. To only have just missed him. Nothing to really do but wait, she supposed.
Besides, she hadn't been back home in awhile. What harm could it do to stick around for awhile? Perhaps some of their other friends would drop by, hoping to reunite with the rest of the gang. The thought brought a warm smile to her lips. Yuffie, Vincent, Cid, Barrett... All of them. She wanted to see them all again.
As time ticked by, a few patrons entered her bar, only to sit, chat with the brawler, and be on their merry way.
"Tifa! It's been awhile since we've seen you around! Where is Cloud at And the others?" One regular asked as he came to sit for a drink. Tifa smiled warmly at him and prepared his usual, setting it down in front of him on the bar.
"He must be off doing his own thing again. And the others are probably around." She replied, keeping her smile intact. It was a nice way of saying she hadn't the slightest idea as to where he, or anyone for the matter, had gone or when they'd be back... Honestly? She wish she did.. The talk was pretty much the same with everyone. Asking of how things were and where the rest of the gang had ventured off to.
And so the day went on, rather uneventfully. A few customers here and there and filling their drink orders before cleaning up any mess left behind. But.. still no Cloud... With a heavy sigh, Tifa sat at the bar herself. Drifting off in thought as she wiped away the small beads of water that were left behind from the glasses she had served.
"Well, no use sticking around here, right?" She had decided. Sitting around here wasn't doing any good. What if the others were in trouble? "Maybe I can at least find out if someone's seen them recently."
