Light Cannot Touch Me Neither Can It Help You Munashii let the teenager vent a bit of his frustration out and talk about the strangeness of the Fury incident. Despite what it appeared to the mortal boy, the Entity of Night was already preparing for what he was about to explain, as he had known before the boy had ever come to Neverland what was going on. "I did put the village to sleep for very simple reasons." Munashii looked out towards the forest surrounding the Village. "For the same reason that the Furies chose Tiger Lily to begin ripping this world apart." He stayed silent for only a moment, considering how to word this before turning back to Sora. "This is not the first time Tiger Lily has been targeted in such a way. A man named Captain Hook has also attempted to use the Furies' tactic to lure out a certain hero who lives on this island. However, the Furies were going to approach the same bate and catch from a different angle." The ageless entity lifted a hand in the moonlight, pointing at Tiger Lily's tent. "She is very closely guarded by her people and not only that, she is very special to one named Peter Pan. When she had been kidnapped before, it nearly cost Peter's friends their lives. The Villagers were so panicked that they nearly burned the boys at the stake. Peter Pan obviously rescued the girl and returned her to her Village in time... However, the Furies planned to not be so kind. If such a thing happened again... and the Lost Boys were once again blamed... and there was no hero to rescue the princess..." Munashii allowed his sentence to drift off into the darkness. "Peter's ability to fly is what makes him so potent as the guardian of this world. To fly, he has to be happy. The Furies were going to snuff out that happiness, by snuffing out both the Princess, and in direct effect, Peter's friends." The dark haired man studied Sora for a moment before answering his question. "I put them to sleep... so that they would not make themselves targets for the Furies, who will not hesitate to kill anything that stands in their way." |
