In all of Twilight Town, there weren't many people who didn't know everybody. It was a small town in all. A tiny world where little lives carried on despite the troubles in the universe around it. School, work, buy, sell, sleep. eat... same old same old.
Vivi liked this life. He'd never really known any other. It was nice to have a place to call home. Even if he really didn't look like anyone from this place or have any idea where he'd come from originally. Such questions seemed unimportant most of the time. Vivi hadn't really thought about it.
He had been accepted by these people despite his looks as a child who needed care and a home. His friends had accepted him even though he felt he couldn't really do much.
Even at this moment after school, Vivi was not really certain how to go about playing the part of a disciplinary except to be their gofer. But he wasn't unhappy with his lot. For some strange reason, Vivi never seemed malcontent or easily angered. Even up to this point, no one in Twilight Town had ever seen Vivi get upset. The curious innocent just seemed to like being around and while he was not ridiculously happy, he was never really sad.
Such had been his life for about two years. He couldn't remember anything before that. Seifer, Fuu and Rai had found him on the station stairs. After a short search for his parents, and confirmation that he had not been brought here by train because the ticket vendor and conductor had never seen him before, it was just accepted that Vivi was here to stay until his real parents came to find him. Days turned into weeks. Weeks turned into months. Months turned into years...
The littlest mage wasn't thinking about that at the moment, however. He was walking through town towards the sandlot and considering taking the tram through just so he would be able to ride it. Unfortunately, as is Vivi's luck, he missed the tram.
